Camp Elevate is Breakaway’s flagship Christian summer camp experience—faithfully serving families across East Tennessee for over 20 years. For more than two decades, Camp Elevate has provided children with a safe, meaningful, and truly life-shaping week each summer—where faith is nurtured, friendships are formed, and confidence begins to flourish.
Designed to help kids grow in their faith, build healthy friendships, and develop lasting confidence, Camp Elevate creates a welcoming environment where every child is known, encouraged, and supported. Within a Christ-centered community led by caring, experienced leaders, campers experience spiritual growth, personal development, and unforgettable memories that extend far beyond one week of summer.
At Camp Elevate, activities are intentionally structured to encourage collaboration over competition. Campers participate in recreation and team-building experiences like gaga ball, knockerball, basketball, kickball, and relay challenges that foster encouragement, teamwork, and resilience. Alongside active play, children explore arts and crafts, hands-on creativity, and collaborative “Change the World” projects that help them practice compassion and leadership in tangible ways.
Each day includes age-appropriate chapel gatherings with worship and engaging Bible teaching, followed by small-group conversations where kids are known by name and supported by trained leaders. Our goal is simple: that every child leaves knowing God sees them, loves them, and walks with them. Every moment—on the field, in creative spaces, or around the campfire—is designed to strengthen character, nurture emotional resilience, and reinforce a Christ-centered identity.
Campers also experience unique global enrichment opportunities, learning introductory language skills in German, French, and Korean. These experiences broaden their worldview and encourage an appreciation for different cultures while helping them understand God’s love for all people and nations.

We understand that sending your child to overnight camp is a big decision, especially if it’s their first time away from home. That’s why we place a strong emphasis on child safety, caring supervision, positive relationships, and structured daily activities.

We strive to help every child feel included, respected, and comfortable participating at their own pace. Whether making new friends, trying something unfamiliar, or navigating the excitement of being away from home, campers are surrounded by leaders who care about their individual well-being.
Evenings around the campfire—with reflection, laughter, and classic s’mores—create special moments and memories that last long after summer ends.

Scholarships Available
Scholarships are available based on eligibility and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability is limited, so we encourage families to register early to secure their child’s spot.
